Full Moon coming.

There was a nice sunset here yesterday evening  (Tuesday). It was followed by a nice display of the waxing gibbous moon. The full moon is on Thursday night and there is a fairly good forecast so anyone who likes a walk by moonlight should make plans to be free. It also will be a lovely night for canoing on the Blackwater for anyone so inclined. I shall have to skip paddling this time around but some of the nicest paddles that I have had in my canoe over the years has been by moonlight. I thoroughly recommend it.
A nice evening glow as the sun goes down behind the hill of Glendine.

The moon as it rises through the beech trees.

Only a small bit missing from the full moon.

  2. Hi Cait,
Thanks for your nice comment and well done on your lovely photography. I am new to blogging and I only started it as a kind of diary of my days along by the river etc. As I am a novice to the blogging scene I wonder if you would mind me asking you how you knew that I had visited your blog. I didn`t think that I had left any comment. It is a nice feature to be able to use.
    Thanks again,
    Tony.
